A reclusive woman and two of her nieces are found dead in the woman’s home. Evidence suggests the woman had imprisoned the nieces and another person for months. A postal clerk stumbles upon a diary left behind by one of the young women and begins piecing together their story. Three years before the deaths, a man named Jim Quick had appeared in the small Irish town and started telling tales at the local pubs. The women of the town quickly fell under Jim’s spell. As the story continues, we learn there is more to Jim than meets the eye and that something dark and sinister is going on.
