Storytime with Charles is our monthly children's picture book read-aloud.  The phenomenal Charles reads picture books perfect for the 2-8 year-old-set (and their grown-ups).

Charles usually reads on the third Sunday of the month at 2:00.  If you would like to receive email reminders, you can sign up for our Storytime with Charles email list in the store or send us an email saying you'd like to be on our Storytime list!

Join Queen Anne Books in support of literacy and schools. For this
event every purchase will help McClure Middle School. Queen
Anne Books will donate 20% of sales during the book fair to the school. There will be a Wish Table of books they need for their
library-- any patrons who buy those titles to donate to the school will
receive 20% off.

McClure librarian Kristan Gale is also organizing a fantastic showcase of original writing by McClure students.  Hear young authors read their work during the book fair from 3:00- 5:30.

Thank you for supporting McClure Middle School!

Celebrate Jennie Shortridge's latest novel at her neighborhood bookstore!

When She Flew is a stunning novel inspired by the true-life storyof a young girl and her father living in the wilderness together.

Join us for a reading, signing and reception celebrating Jennie Shortridge, one of our favorite authors and neighbors!

"...A taut, beautifully rendered novel... all the
urgency of a thriller and... a moving exploration of parental love and
the lengths to which one person will go to take care of another."

—Marisa de los Santos, New York Times bestselling author of Love Walked In and Belong to Me
