What a charming story with beautiful illustrations. It is so enjoyable for both children and the adults who share the book with them. Rocket is a dog who is totally content to do all his usual "doggie" type activities every day until he meets a pesky little yellow bird that lands on his head and eventually inspires Rocket to learn to read.
