Here it is: my first recommendation in the Romance section of the store! This is a zany, racy contemporary romance. Juli heads to the Caribbean to dispose of her uncle’s ashes asea according to his will, despite her intense seasickness. Alex and his former coworkers are there to do a little light pirating to get even with the boss who laid them off with no pensions. Of course, adventure and romance ensue. Alex and Juli are likeable and funny, and the romantic tension is top-notch. (My favorite: a game of strip “Battleship.”) The plot and supporting characters far exceeded my expectations. I started off planning to read just a few pages, but before I knew it, I read and really enjoyed the whole thing. ~Tegan
