I picked this book up because quite a few customers came in requesting a copy and my interest was piqued. It has been a best seller in Europe and has already been optioned for a movie. It is the story of Emma and Dex that we meet July 15th in 1988 when they graduate university. The author then visits them every year until 2007 on that same date to see what paths they have taken and how their lives continue to coincide. It is a little like the When “Harry Met Sally” format, but not nearly as light hearted nor are the characters quite as likeable, but they are definitely real with many relationship problems and life struggles to contend with as they move along in years. I think the British must have a different sense of humor since this book is described as a funny (not really except in a few instances), romantic comedy (don't think so). It is certainly worth reading and once you start you have to see how it ends. ~Cindy
